First Communion Dinner
The First Holy Communion is an exceptional experience for the child and the parents alike. We at the Lasota Palace always emphasize that it is primarily an event in the life of the child, and therefore when we organize a dinner party on this important day, we strive to make them feel special.
Party Setting
With the convenience and comfort of our Guests in mind, we provide each family with an individual, closed dining room, scaled appropriately to the number of guests invited. The only shared buffet is the Coffee Buffet (with a pressure coffee machine and a selection of 12 tea flavors), situated in a general access area, available to all parties on the given day.
The First Holy Communion child is the first to enter the room allocated for each family, leading all of their guests. Their seat of honor is a throne, allowing them to feel the gravity of this important day.
All children (from all Holy Communions in a given day) aged 4 to 12 are looked after by entertainers, ensuring the time they spend here is exciting and pleasant. Our staff look after the young guests‘ safety and ensure they are well-entertained, by organizing games and treasure hunts in the palace cellars.
On warm days, the serenely quiet and eye-pleasing park surrounding the palace is also accessible.
Service
During the First Communion Dinner party, the adults are seated in a separate room, with a dedicated, professional waiting staff. Each room comes with its own individual waiting service.
Cuisine
At the Lasota Palace, we allow all of our guests to individually choose the dishes that are to be prepared for their special day. The guests are free to choose from among dozens of dishes that our chefs can prepare, limited only by the types and amounts of dishes, as per our specifications.
We specialize primarily in modern and traditional Polish cuisine, but we always make every effort possible to accomodate for our guests‘ preferences and requirements.
We prepare all our dishes ourselves. From pastas through soups, pâtés, roasts, to homemade pastries. We typically serve the dishes in the traditional Polish manner, in vases and on platters, but upon the guests‘ request, they may be ready-served on dishes. A typical First Communion Dinner party at the palace usually lasts 5-6 hours.
First Communion menu:
- Hot dishes: Two course dinner (soup and main course), followed by borscht soup with croquettes/pasties or sour rye soup towards the end of the party,
- Cold appetizers: 4 cold appetizers, 2 salads, marinades, bread and butter,
- Dessert served in between meals,
- Sweet buffet: 3 types of homemade cakes, in season fruit,
- Sodas (Coca-Cola, carbonated water) and soft drinks (kompot, mint and lemon water, apple and orange juices)
- Coffee buffet (shared by all communion parties on a given day): coffee from a pressure coffee machine, selection of 12 tea flavors and extras
Additionally, should you like to order a First Communion cake, we can offer you a special price and free transportation for a cake from our partner, the Sowa Confectionery. You will be provided with contact information for our representative, with whom you will be able to place your order and choose the cake which meets your expectations.
Feel free to give us a call and arrange a visit to the palace and come see it personally. We would be happy to show you around and answer all your questions. The guests who visit this place fall for its charm and entrust us with organizing events that are special to them.
